Virtual Receptionist Central Comm

virtual receptionit, answering service blog, business advice,

Someone asked me the other day, “What is a Virtual Receptionist?”. How in the world can a receptionist be virtual? Either you have a receptionist of you don’t, right? Well, it’s not really that black and white.

If you are thinking of a receptionist as that person sitting in your front lobby and directing people to different offices, then perhaps you are correct. But don’t forget, receptionist’s position usually also includes taking and directing calls as a part of their job descriptions. It usually also includes the ability to ask frequently asked questions, to provide directions to the office, or special events.  Perhaps your receptionist’s duties are more varied because your company doesn’t generally have much walk-in business, therefore your receptionist has more time available to do other tasks.

Those other tasks could include appointment scheduling, making reservations, follow up phones calls when regular staff is out of communication and seminar rsvp collection.

These are all things that can, and are, outsourced to our Virtual Receptionists. They are especially valuable to companies who need help, but don’t have the funds or the need for another full-time person.

A virtual receptionist from Central Comm can do all of these things, yet you don’t have to take on the costs of hiring someone, making room for them in your physical office space and train them on your day to day operations.

Companies are getting busier these days with the more favorable economic conditions, and this is one solution to a growing problem for companies.

If you aren’t certain how a virtual receptionist would fit in to your plan, just give us a call, we will be happy to talk with you about our services and see how we can help you.

Central Comm, at your service.
