At Central Communications, our people are phone people. You can’t do this type of job and not be someone who likes to talk on the phone. We handle Answering Service calls, Virtual Receptionist duties, Seminar Registration and Follow up, Dispatch Services, E-Commerce Support for internet companies and Medical Serivce Companies, Attorneys Offices and Doctors Offices. Most of what we do involves talking and interacting with people. But not everyone enjoys talking, and while some are okay with having an in person conversation, they are still uncomfortable with the telephone.
If you are someone who loves to talk on the phone, but you have plenty of work to do, it might be a good idea to have us take over your phone calls during certain times of the day. For example, if you are a person who loves the morning and you are super energized at that time of day, then perhaps we should take you phone calls from 9 to 11 am. You can make a list of your to do’s and power through them. Once you have those tasks completed, you can jump in and return calls. Our system will notify you when that next important phone call comes in and our operators will handle the rest.
Sometimes people who love a good chat can get carried away and the day has gone by without those important tasks being completed. I bet you thought we were going to say if your love chatting on the phone, then go ahead, chat away. A good phone conversation can make or break a new customer relationship, that’s true, but not following through with promises you make to those customers is even more damaging.
Should you fall into the second group, then you might want to let us find out more information about why someone is calling you. If the caller is amenable, we can ask a few questions up front, then when you call back you will have at hand the information you need to complete the call in short order with out too much of that chatting that your are not prone to do.
