Long Beach used to be known as a port city, a little rough around the edges. These days, though, Long Beach is changing. As the cities close to Los Angeles became more expensive, the better home prices in Long Beach became more attractive.
From the California Destination Website:
“What makes The Urban Waterfront Front Playground™ perfect? Is it the ideal weather? The exciting attractions? The unique events? The gorgeous setting? The trendy shopping? The delicious dining? How about all of the above. You name it, Long Beach has it. Voted one of America’s “Most Walkable Cities,” Long Beach is comprised of eight distinct neighborhoods and tucked in along the waterfront centrally located to Los Angeles and Orange County. Experience the big-city feel with small-town charm in a unique oceanfront setting – Welcome to Long Beach.”
With the Convention Center, the hotels and restaurants and the ocean, Long Beach is fast becoming a choice place to live.
They have an annual Christmas Boat Parade on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 that is a must see for anyone living near, or planning to visit Long Beach .
Happy Holidays,
