It’s the most wonderful time of the year…If you are under the age of 18 that is. School is out for the summer and your children are excited. Of course, in a week they are going to be bored. But that’s a topic for another day.
This is the only time of the year, other than at the Holidays, where most families can spend some quality time together. Perhaps you like to go camping, or spend a couple of weeks at the beach, maybe a cabin in the mountains. For some of us, who already live in resort towns, it’s staycations. We stay home but take day trips to all the places other people come here to experience.
Were you so busy that you forgot summer was coming? It’s probably a good time to stop for a moment and put together some plans for spending time with your family. Work can get so all-consuming that we forget to make time for ourselves and our families and our friends.
Even if you don’t take a long vacation, what about dividing your days off into a few four-day weekends, and a couple of mid-week day trips? Life goes by quickly, and as they say, no one regrets not working more hours when they are old and tired, mostly they regret not taking time out to enjoy life a little more.
Don’t fret about leaving your phones unanswered, we have your back. Just give us a call and we will set you up.
Now, go plan your vacation.
